Tribe Sampler Vol. 1 (Reloaded & Remixed)
This is a reconstruction of Tribe Sampler. Vol. 1 cassette that was compiled by Nujabes. It was a cassette that was given away in limited quantities at the opening of the "Tribe" brick and mortar store around May to early June 2003. This cassette is very hard to come by, and the recording of it floating around online is in an abysmal quality and is full of recording errors and skips. I was listening to this version earlier in November and thought of how it creates such a wonderful late autumn or winter mood, it's very atmospheric. Being able to listen to such a great cassette compiled by Nujabes in high quality would make all its colors shine through even brighter, so that's what I ventured to do. I managed to track down the original albums for each song in the compilation (most CDs but some were on vinyl only). After recording each to the best of my abilities, I recompiled the tracks in the same way as the original cassette, even leaving the same exact gaps or pauses in between each track. I hope that you will enjoy listening to this compilation now in high quality as much as I have, and I hope that it sets pace for a cozy and relaxing winter this year.

Thank you to Padybu for inspiring me to make this reconstruction, which was inspired by his incredible reconstruction of the Sweet Sticky Thing mixtape by Nujabes.
